STR Regulations

The City of Vail, CO passed an ordinance that stipulates vacation rental or short term rentals (STR) regulations.  STRs are noted as any rental period less than 30 days. Owners and property managers are required to register to obtain a permit. The ordinance also stipulates that an owner or property manager must appoint and provide documentation for a local representative who lives within 60 minutes of STR and is available 24/7.
