STR Regulations

The City of Sarasota, FL is implementing vacation rental regulations. Currently, the minimum required duration of stays in vacation rentals located in residential zone districts is one full week (7 full days and 7 full nights).

Zoning Restrictions

Every vacation rental owner within the Coastal Island Overlay District shall apply to the City for an initial certificate of registration by March 1st, 2022 through the Local Business Tax Office.

Permit or License
